BAE Systems hosted an open house in Odon, Indiana on July 22, formally introducing themselves to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division. Their leadership team and local employees welcomed their NSWC Crane customer, including the NSWC Crane leadership and tenant commands; local mayors and representatives from Senator Dan Coats’ office and Congressman Larry Bucshon’s office.
The event provided an opportunity for BAE Systems to share how their capabilities align with NSWC Crane’s needs to support Special Operations Forces, strategic deterrence initiatives and electro-optic systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. During the open house, BAE Systems Vice President Kris Busch spoke to attendees about how BAE Systems’ mission aligns with NSWC Cranes’ mission in supporting the DoD and warfighter. Commanding Officer, Captain J.T. Elder spoke about the NSWC Crane community, and thanked BAE Systems for their support.
BAE Systems is excited about the work they are doing at NSWC Crane and they look forward to great relationships with the surrounding communities of southern Indiana.
